Wadi Rum is the magnificent desert in the south of Jordan about 70 km. to the north of Aqaba.
To explore the valley of Wadi Rum you should take a tour by a Jeep 4×4 with a Bedouin driver, the vehicle takes up to 6 people. This is the most popular way to visit Wadi Rum desert.
The beginning of the tour starts from the village and drive to Lawrence’s spring and then to Khazali Canyon where you can see the Nabatiyah, Arabic and Islamic drawings, continue by the jeep to Jebel Burdah from where there are some great views and then to the Barragh Canyon. From there continue to the Jebel Anafishiya where you can also see some Nabatean inscriptions, transfer to sand dunes where you can walk on the sand dunes and then to the sunset place to watch the sunset and to appreciate the beauty of the changing colours of the landscape.
